Whilst on patrol in Highgate our PCSOs spotted a vehicle parked the wrong way on a one way street and causing an obstruction to the highway. The vehicle was subsequently removed to allow other road users safe access and travel.

Our PCs have had another busy this week, they have arrested another individual wanted on recall. We are holding people on licence to account, if they breach their licence we will take them back to prison.  

Our Deritend StreetWatch team have conducted further patrols, one of our PCSOs was able to join one patrol, where the team met a local business leader who was able to share their experiences locally and what is impacting them.

This week we have also conducted a joint operation in Small Heath with our partner agencies; Birmingham City Council, DVLA, Civil Enforcement Officers. We removed 12 vehicles for no tax or for obstructing the highway, removal notices were issued to 28 vehicles. Birmingham City Council issued 8 warning notices for waste and 1 fine. Civil Enforcement Officers issued 25 Penalty Notices. Our Waste Management partners were also able to remove a large amount of fly tipping. 

Whilst conducting the operation, we met many of our local community and received lots of feedback.
